Donated by Swiss publisher Ulrico Hoepli to the city of
Milan and designed by architect Piero Portaluppi - one
of the greatest architects during fascism times -, at
the present it is the biggest planetarium of Italy, with
activities destined to the education and spreading of
astronomy and other scientific disciplines related to
it.
