Basilica
of San Marco
It is the symbol of Venice, with more than two kilometres
square of beautiful mosaics, and invaluable treasures
like the "Pala d'Oro", masterpiece of Gothic-Bizantine
goldsmith art; precious crystals, liturgical vessels,
cups and clothes. Recently a restoration has been made
of the wonderful marbles within the church.
